​Working in collaboration with the architect and interior designer to renovate an Arts & Crafts home in Surrey. The aim has been to blend traditional craftsmanship with modern living. Where possible, the home's original features hav been preserved, such as the stained glass windows in the entrance hall which have been carefully restored, preserving their intricate designs and adding a touch of historical charm on entering the property.

 

The spacious open-plan kitchen, dining, and snug area is designed to be the heart of the home - perfect for family meals and entertaining guests. Throughout the renovation, bespoke joinery has been widely incorporated, including custom windows, doors, bookshelves, furniture and integrated wardrobes. These elements enhance the home's architectural character and reflect the artisan quality of the Arts & Crafts movement. 

 

The interiors feature a sophisticated neutral palette, with highlights of darks. Rich textures are introduced through tactile wallpapers and carefully selected materials, adding depth and interest to each room. Throughout the property thoughtful consideration has been given to the quality and direction of natural light, which changes throughout the day. This not only illuminates but also enriches the colours and textures, enhancing the overall ambiance of the space.
